Skara was created to solve a number of problems in the New Zealand office furniture industry.

If you are setting up an office with lots of furniture you can spend a lot of time and money assembling or installing your new furniture. A lot of our furniture can arrive fully assembled, saving you time and money while still getting high quality office furniture.
Skara offers discounts for bulk ordering and it's a great option for a 'low effort' DIY office fit out. We also offer a custom office layout service where you can upload your floor plan and requirements for number of workstations, meeting tables, storage options etc. And we will supply a proposal and quote for bulk ordering.

There are many quality manufacturers of office furniture and a range of great brands available in New Zealand. However most retailers that sell these great products also sell lower end furniture and don't clearly advertise the quality of the different products. Our story
The Skara name
Skara-Brae was a neolithic settlement in Scotland dating 3000 BC. Houses and stone furniture were excavated at the site showing how early settlers interest in furniture regarding function and design are evident for our early ancestors.
Skara was born with the desire to bring furniture with function, design and creativity together into a modern way of living.
